Call for Papers-SI on Autonomous and Intelligent Decentralized Systems

Aims and Scope

Large and complex autonomous and intelligent systems have been widely implemented in today’s infrastructure. These systems can be found in telecommunications, transportation, smart cities, robotics, internet of things, autonomous driving systems, power sector, business, manufactory, among many others. Moreover, current technologies and the industry 4.0 have enable autonomous, intelligent, adaptable solutions that increase the complexity of the systems.
Those systems have many complex components that must work coherently and safely, even in case of component failures. It demands control, information, and service systems complying on adaptive, reliable, and reusable technologies and applications. Autonomous Decentralized Systems (ADS), which behave as living systems comprised of largely autonomous and decentralized subsystems, have been successfully applied to fulfil the expected characteristics in such complex systems.
We invite authors of The IEEE 16th International Symposium on Autonomous Decentralized Systems (ISADS) to extend their ISADS paper into a journal publication. The invitation can also be extended to authors outside ISADS, as long as the paper topics are related to autonomous intelligent systems.
We plan to have an expedited process to publish the special issue in the first quarter of 2026. The suggested dates are as follows.

Important dates
